Things have been so busy with the pregnancy, moving, adjusting to our "temporary" life that I haven't updated on the twins in awhile. So, this post is devoted to them!
Koltin pretty much got all 4 molars at once! He didn't seem necessarily cranky but became super naughty! This began at the end of April during our hectic move. We have him Tylenol maybe 4-5 times is all. They have finally (June 1st) broken through all the gums.
Kinsley still doesn't have her molars nor has she gotten in 4th canine. We are hoping that tooth comes in by itself.
Koltin is talking in complete sentences. He can pretty much say anything you ask him to say. He will answer questions and has begun asking questions himself. The first question he asked me was, "Mommy happy?"
Kinsley is talking more but still doesn't pronounce everything correctly. She is not talking in sentences. She listens and can answer questions but it's by responding with actions or saying ya or no.
Kinsley is in a phase where everything is no. She is also grunting and growling when she doesn't get her way.
Koltin has fewer tantrums but when he gets mad he makes an angry face and throws stuff.
He still LOVES cars. He lines everything up and they all face the correct direction.
Kinsley is into accessories. She now likes to wear purses and has all of her stuff inside. She likes to wear her high heels, "eyes", necklaces, phone, eyelash curler, etc.
They love Iccee treats aka otter pops
Kinsley doesn't need to be held all of the time anymore. She likes to give kisses and hugs. Otherwise, she's so independent.
Koltin has been struggling with the move. It began 2 nights before we moved out of our house. When his bed was taken apart he ended up having a meltdown that evening. I was showering so my mom and sister helped put the kids to sleep on their mattress. He began crying and hyperventilating. Kevin had to take him to calm him down. This behavior continued but got worse. The first night at the rental he struggled and wouldn't fall asleep in his bed. I had to sit with him in the family room until he got really tired and calmed down. We ended up switching rooms to have a darker and hopefully cooler room. It made no difference. After trying a few things, we resorted to letting the kids sleep with us. Things got better temporarily. Now, he doesn't want to nap or sleep at bed times he panics and says, "no,no,no!" He also yells for us in the middle of him sleeping. He yells my name around the house too if he can't sleep. I feel he has some anxiety over the move and fears mom or dad are leaving. It's very sad and breaks my heart. We might need to see his doctor. Kinsley has adjusted just fine.
