That doctors appointment went really well and we really like the pediatrician. Koltin weighed 4 pounds 15ounces and Kinsley weighed 4 pounds, 9 ounces. The pediatrician was very impressed at how healthy the kids were and that they did not have to stay in the NICU considering they were premature. She told me to continue trying to breastfeed Koltin and that we didn't need to give up yet. She wanted us supplementing with the same formula that the hospital had asked using which is Similac neosure. She said we could increase the amount to 1 to 2 ounces. She wanted to see us back on Saturday to have a weight check to make sure everything was going good.

January 29th, 2013: First Doctor's Appointment
The first night home was difficult because we work adjusting to life at home. I was really uncomfortable and in some pain so it was hard for me to get up and down and help with the kids. Kevin and I got up every three hours to change and feed the kids. For the first few nights we just have them wearing the hospital shirts and then we swaddled them in a hospital blanket. They were still only eating 20ml of the pre-made formula. We got very little sleep and had to get up and get them ready for their first doctors appointment. This was our very first outing with the kids and we quickly discovered that it takes a very long time to get the kids ready and get anywhere on time.

I weighed myself when I got home and I weighed 128 pounds so I lost 20 pounds in the hospital.
